As an athlete, you already know that the harder you train and compete, the more acid builds up in your muscles. Both your blood and muscle pH drop into the feared acidic zone. Increased use of muscle glycogen for energy produces lactic and pyruvic acid. Acidity reduces muscle strength and physical and mental endurance. You, your trainers and your coaches refer to this as lactic acid build-up or lactic acid fatigue. In training and on the field of play, it is also called ‘hitting the wall’ or ‘having a bear on your back’. It is simple. The harder you compete, the faster you enter the Acid Start phase! The athlete who enters the ‘Acid Start’ phase last wins the competition.
Intramuscular acidosis occurs when your muscles have an excess of acid. This condition is caused by the production of H+ (hydrogen ions), which is part of the energy released from the breakdown of glucose. As your muscles enter ‘acid start’, this creates fatigue and muscle burning, which you feel during exercise. The Xendurance formula and the natural chemistry of its 9 ingredients not only guarantee the buffering of H+ (hydrogen ion) production and help prevent acid build-up in your muscles, but have also been clinically proven to increase aerobic thresholds, allowing you to work harder for longer.

Clinical Study Demonstrating the Effectiveness of Xendurance (Extreme Endurance)
A gold-standard, *third-party, double-blind, placebo-controlled study was conducted on Xendurance, in which twenty-two (22) elite athletes were given baseline tests. Each athlete was given a dosage protocol and either product A or product B. When the final test results were completed, the 22 athletes showed an average 15% reduction in lactic acid and a double-digit increase in aerobic thresholds. All athletes reported less muscle burning and faster recovery with less muscle soreness.

This clinical study was published in the Clinical Journal of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, (volume 5, supplement 1, 2010) and was presented on 13 March 2010 at the 6th Annual Conference of the European Union Nutraceutical Organisation. – And our testing continues with athletes at Corpus Diagnostik in Hilpoltstein, Germany.
Jurgen Sessner, the lead researcher at Corpus Diagnostik, has conducted more than 7,000 Step Tests, (we call them VO2 Max tests in the USA) over the past decade and has tested athletes for 13 years, including 3 Hawaii Ironman Champions. He has worked at more than 60 training camps for triathletes and, particularly in recent years, has been based in Lanzarote, Canary Islands.
Xendurance Extreme Endurance TESTED FOR PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES
Xendurance (Extreme Endurance) has been tested by the world’s leading sports laboratories. HFL Sport Science is based in the United Kingdom, and its testing of Xendurance is carried out using gas chromatography with mass spectrometry detection (GCMS) and liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry detection (LCMS). In simple terms, if you placed a drop of a prohibited substance in an Olympic-sized swimming pool, this test would find it.

DO YOU TRAIN 5 TO 6 TIMES PER WEEK?
If yes, take 6 tablets daily for best results. Split the 6 tablets between morning and evening use. The harder you train, the more acid (hydrogen ions) H+ you produce and the more Xendurance is required.
IS YOUR TRAINING PROGRAMME LESS THAN 5 TO 6 TIMES PER WEEK?
If yes, use the Regular Training Dosage daily according to your body weight. (See the Dosage Chart)
Before each competition, increase your daily dosage to a Loading Dosage of 8 tablets per day and begin this Loading Dosage 5 to 7 days before the competition. Continue on the day of competition and for one day afterwards. The “day-after dosage” of 8 tablets helps greatly with recovery.

Should the dosage be taken before a meal or on an empty stomach?
Should you take it before or after a workout?
As Xendurance is not released in the stomach, you can take it with or without a meal, according to your preference. Many athletes prefer to take it with meals because this is when they are accustomed to taking their other supplements.
The dosage should be split into up to two servings per day, so for example, if your dosage is 5 tablets, take 2 or 3 in the morning and the remainder in the evening.
Taking Xendurance before or after a workout has no effect on the product’s results.
