HydraPak Expedition 8L (E800) – Water storage for base camp without unnecessary weight

The HydraPak Expedition 8L (E800) is a technical water storage reservoir for camping, expeditions and base camp use, when you need high capacity without bulky containers. With an ultralight design and highly packable body, it carries 8 litres of water and folds down easily when empty.

Materials & construction – what makes the Expedition 8L so durable

HydraPak has selected a combination of polymers so that each part serves a specific role: durability in the body, rigidity where needed and safety in contact with drinking water. This allows the reservoir to perform properly during frequent opening and closing, carrying and hanging at camp.

• TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane): the main body of the reservoir. Offers high abrasion and tear resistance, along with excellent flexibility for compact folding.
• HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene): structural areas requiring increased rigidity and resistance to stress.
• PP/POM: mechanical and connection components, where a secure fit and reliable fastening are needed.
• ABS: durable plastic components designed for frequent handling (opening, screwing and field use).
• Nylon: reinforcements and synthetic elements for durability and stability during carrying.

The construction is BPA & PVC free, suitable for drinking water, while the design is intended to provide reliability for outdoor use.
