The Hoka Mach 3 was created for runners seeking a combination of speed, responsiveness and comfort for both daily training and racing. The third generation of the Mach model retains Hoka’s philosophy, combining a lightweight construction with advanced materials that enhance stride efficiency.

The upper is made from engineered mesh, offering high breathability and a secure fit to keep the foot comfortable even during intense efforts or in high temperatures. The internal lining reduces friction and enhances heel stability.

The midsole is based on a dual-density PROFLY™ midsole, combining soft foam in the forefoot with firmer foam in the heel. This gives the shoe a smooth landing with high cushioning and explosive forward propulsion. Instead of a carbon plate, the Mach 3 features internal layering that acts as a natural plate, providing stiffness and stability during transitions without adding unnecessary weight.

The outsole does not use traditional rubber, but a more durable EVA coating that reduces weight while maintaining sufficient grip on tarmac. This feature makes the Mach 3 exceptionally lightweight and ideal for fast runs.

Weight is approximately 241 grams for the men’s model and 192 grams for the women’s model, delivering the feel of a racing shoe for everyday use. The drop remains at 5 millimetres, with a stack height of 24 millimetres in the forefoot and 29 millimetres in the heel.
