• Less processed, NON-GMO, with lower levels of mono- and disaccharides / a much higher proportion of polysaccharides (thanks to the lower Dextrose Equivalent), less sodium and even closer to the desired neutral pH.

Classic HEED = Corn Maltodextrin

• A complex carbohydrate with a high glycaemic index (GI), ideal for providing fast and long-lasting energy during exercise and replenishing the body’s energy (glycogen) stores after exercise.

Xylitol

• This natural sweetening agent is found in a variety of fibrous fruits and vegetables. It promotes oral health, as it does not ferment and does not support the acid-producing bacteria that cause tooth decay. WARNING: Xylitol is believed to be dangerous for dogs to consume. Therefore, we do not recommend feeding your dog any product containing xylitol, including HEED or Recoverite.
