The AMILA TPU Series Olympic weight plates are made from cast iron with a TPU coating. The centre ring is steel for high durability and easy plate changes on the bar. They have a very pleasant matt texture and are completely free from unpleasant odours. TPU coating:
Once formed from cast iron, the plate is placed in a mould for TPU coating. This material is a thermoplastic polymer distinguished by high abrasion resistance, high shear resistance and high elasticity, making it particularly durable for everyday use. It is considered a middle-ground solution between standard rubber and PU coating, with a highly competitive price.
