Altra EGO™ Foam – Lightweight Cushioning

The midsole uses Altra EGO™, a lightweight and responsive foam that provides essential cushioning without isolating the foot from the ground. The feel is responsive and lively, allowing quick reactions on technical terrain.

StoneGuard™ – Protection Without Loss of Feel

The StoneGuard™ is a removable protective layer in the midsole that shields the sole of the foot from sharp rocks. Unlike heavy rock plates, it provides protection while maintaining flexibility and ground feel.

MaxTrac™ Outsole – Grip & Control

The Altra MaxTrac™ outsole combines grip and durability. The lugs (~4 mm) provide good bite on dirt and trails while maintaining flexibility for quick changes of direction.

Zero Drop™ & FootShape™ – Natural Movement

The Zero Drop™ platform keeps the foot in a natural position, while the FootShape™ toe box allows the toes to spread naturally. This enhances balance, stability and activation of the foot muscles.
