Altra Women's EXPERIENCE WILD PURPLE

The ALTRA Experience Wild is Altra’s new trail running shoe, bringing a road-running feel to the mountains and offering an excellent balance between natural movement and protection. Designed for mixed-surface routes, it combines comfort, stability and a smooth ride, making it ideal for runners looking for a lightweight, versatile and efficient shoe for everyday use.

The ROCKER SHAPE geometry enables a natural transition from heel to toe, reducing fatigue and increasing efficiency on climbs and descents. With a 4 mm drop and a stack height of 32 mm at the heel and 28 mm at the forefoot, the Experience Wild provides excellent cushioning without losing ground feel.

The EVA foam midsole delivers a soft yet stable feel, providing comfort over long distances. The MAXTRAC™ outsole offers reliable traction on dirt, rocks and mixed terrain, while the 4.5 mm lugs provide secure grip without adding unnecessary weight to the shoe.

The upper is made from engineered mesh, with reinforced areas for durability and breathability. It features the FOOTSHAPE™ TOE BOX for natural toe movement and the GAITERTRAP™ system at the rear for easy gaiter attachment, protecting the foot from dust and small stones.

The men’s model weighs approximately 283 g, offering an ideal balance of lightness and stability. Its neutral design makes the Experience Wild suitable both for runners with a neutral gait and for those gradually transitioning from more traditional drops to a more natural running position.
