The Adidas Distancestar are designed for track athletes competing over middle and long distances. adidas focuses on stability, running economy and control. As a result, the shoe supports a consistent pace and secure footing throughout the effort.

Design for middle & long distances

The Distancestar cover events from 400 m to 5000 m. Their construction balances speed and comfort. In addition, it reduces fatigue during sustained effort. This helps the athlete maintain proper technique through to the finish.

Upper & fit

The upper uses lightweight, breathable mesh. It wraps the foot in a secure yet comfortable fit. At the same time, it allows natural foot movement. This keeps the shoe comfortable even over longer distances.

Spike plate & track stability

adidas incorporates a spike plate that provides traction without excessive aggression. Foot placement remains controlled. In addition, the platform supports smooth transitions from the landing phase to push-off.
